Argentine politics shows a clear division between Cristina Kirchner and Javier Milei, with the libertarian standing out with broad support. According to a study by CB Consultora Opinión Pública, Milei significantly surpasses Kirchner in popularity across the country.
In contrast, Cristina Kirchner has only 17.5% support and 80.2% rejection, resulting in a negative balance of -62.7 points. Nationally, Javier Milei leads with 47.9% support and 50% rejection.
In Santiago del Estero, Cristina Kirchner stands out with 58.3% positive image, but nationally, she only manages to surpass 50% approval in 2 provinces. Milei, on the other hand, maintains a positive image above 50% in 16 provinces.
In the City of Buenos Aires, Milei receives a solid 48.4% support, while Kirchner only achieves 25% backing. Additionally, in provinces like Mendoza and Córdoba, Milei receives more support than Kirchner, reflecting the anti-Kirchnerist trend in those territories.
Despite Kirchner having a positive balance in Formosa, Milei presents a better image than her in the province of Buenos Aires, a concerning fact for Kirchnerism. Milei also shines in Córdoba, a stronghold of anti-Kirchnerism, where he obtains a 63.7% positive image.
In summary, both Milei and Kirchner face high rejection rates in most provinces, but Milei manages to maintain a more positive balance compared to Kirchner, reflecting his growing popularity nationally. The study, conducted between March 1 and 4, reveals a clear preference for Milei in the majority of Argentine provinces.
